We are a tangata Tiriti NGO which specialises in providing therapeutic services for tamariki, rangatahi and whānau who have complex behavioural and/or mental health needs.
Our innovative approach combines Western evidence-based models with mātauranga Māori and Pasifika knowledge. About the role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
In this role, you will be the trusted “right-hand” person providing comprehensive administrative and executive support to both our Chief Executive and certain members of the senior leadership team.
The reason for the fixed term is to provide additional support for the move to our new premises in November and then over the next few months to manage any teething problems; and also to assess the overall need for EA support for the leadership team.
Your responsibilities will include travel and event management, drafting letters, formatting and compiling documentation and reports, and assisting with the preparation of Board papers and the Board work plan. You will handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost professionalism, ensuring its security and confidentiality.
You will also take charge of special projects, creating impactful PowerPoint presentations, financial spreadsheets, and ad-hoc reports. Your coordination and time-management skills will shine as you will need to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively to deliver on the role requirements.
About You | Mōu
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- At least 5 years prior experience as a personal or executive assistant.
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with great attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- Sound judgement, with the ability to prioritise and make decisions.
- To build and maintain relationships with people at all levels, both internal and external to the organisation.
- Experience in contributing to harmonious and effective multicultural working environments.
- To be hard-working, organised, collaborative and efficient, with a suite of strong technical skills.
